I am interested in Software Engineering. I have been competing since 5 years. I have learned huge number of algorithms,

but still more curious to learn more and mo re. I like being involved in analysis, design and implementation phases for

WORK EXPERIENCE

Senior Software development Engineer at SilMinds 11/2011 - 6/2012

I was working as a software performance engineer and my work was to characterize the software performance

of individual decimal arithmetic units against different software implementations.

Also, I was working on preparing benc hmarks, including researching suitable benchmarks, developing or

adapting code for benchmarks; and analyzing results.

R&D Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics Egypt 2/2008 - 8/2012

I was working in Chameleon-Art Tool, my work was on the layout re-targeting from older IC technology to

newer one.

Specifically, I have made modifications to the engine, as well as adding hierarchy support for the tool.

I used linear programming optimization algorithms like the simplex method algorithm.

C++ developer at SE-Egypt Company, Heliopolis 10/2007 - 1/2008

I was working in Banking E-Payment Applications using POS terminals (VeriFone) and (EMV and Magnetic)

cards.

Specifically, I worked in customizing the user interface (UI) for the POS terminals and printed receipts.

Details: The main aim of this project is to present a method for tracking the players in soccer

videos. The proposed approach is to recognize the player by the number depicted on the front

or back part of his shirt instead of depending on face recognition, or recognize the player

depending on some intelligence in case of the shirt number is not appearing and there are

more players in the stadium. The Project is implemented using C# on Microsoft Visual studio

.Net 2003
