Volunteer History:
1. I have volunteered many hours of my life as an actress involved in community theatre production beginning at the age of 10.
2. I have helped out with an organization called Safety Town which is a week long program for kids to help teach them about different aspects in leading a safe life.
3. The Midland Center for the Arts is the holder for the Summer Art Fair each June where I have dedicated my time to face painting for kids.
4. The Midland Community Center also does various Community Days and events within the city of Midland in which I have helped out at supervising inflatable’s for kids, face painted, organized games and various other commitments.
5. In high school I was on the Non-Violence Committee where we acted out a Dr. Seuss story for children in Elementary School.
6. At Delta College, myself and the rest of my communications class, went to an elementary school in the Saginaw area to present poems and talk to kids about how important reading is.
7. I have been an active member of the St. Brigid Catholic Church my whole life. For the past 4 years I have volunteered my time each Sunday morning to teach Faith Formation Religion Class in a Kindergarten classroom.
8. As a Certified Zumba Instructor, I have done various demonstrations in the community such as at church picnics, colleges, elementary schools and Midland County events.
9. I have served time at the Mount Pleasant Soup Kitchen in preparation of meals for families who can’t afford them.
10. I have participated in several food can drives at church and within school at both Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University.
11. Participation in Adopt-A-Family in December of 2011. Adopt-A-Family is an organization that allows people to select a family to help aid during the holiday season and give them gifts and food during Christmas time.
