Provide reassurance to patients and by-standers to alleviate chaos and fears to prevent interference with patient care.

Inspect interior of ambulance to restock supplies, clean and sanitize equipment; decontaminate interior to prevent exposure to infection or HAZMAT.
Maintain ambulance to ensure call ready; perform preventive maintenance, check for malfunctioning equipment requiring repair or replacement. Ensure vehicles meet all operational and safety standards.
