. Primarily responsible for managing internal safety and security audits

for 32 Kroger food manufacturing plants and 18 Kroger DC's. Supervise

two employees who also conduct these audits.

. Assist DC's and plants in responding to any OSHA/EPA activity, e.g.,

inspections/citations, ammonia releases.

. Work closely in managing and the manufacturing behavior based process

as well as the conducting behavior based safety audits (KEA's) at

plants with my two subordinates.

. Provide facilities with updated written programs, training

presentations, and best practice examples. Conduct training for plant

personnel as needed.

. Manage the safety intranet web site and conduct safety training, live

meetings, and un-scored help trips for facilities.

. Conduct ongoing research of OSHA standards and their impact to Kroger

facilities, e.g., NFPA 70E/electrical arc flash and combustible dust.

. Provide technical assistance and guidance to plants and DC's as it

relates to safety and security issues.

. Help coordinate conferences (physical safety and behavior based) for

plant personnel.

to claim cases.

. Conduct a two day safety course three times annually for new facility
