business.. The environment consists of ~1000 servers.Infra Structure team (Data Centre
Build, Design & Infrastructure/Support) is responsible for building and supporting OS,
Layered Application (databases, Middleware) and maintaining the production servers.
Primary Responsibilities:

Project Description:
Specialist Service is the program, which manages the BT Infra structure Environment
centrally to serve across line of business.. The environment consists of ~3500 physical and
virtual servers, ~1500 databases, ~2200 Network Elements. Infra Structure team (Data Centre
Build & Infrastructure/Support) is responsible for building and supporting OS, Layered
Application (databases, Middleware). Infra Structure has been segregated into two major
areas, Non-VDC & VDC (Virtual Data Center). The Non-VDC part mostly (99%) consists of
the Physical Servers and Layered Application on top of them. VDC consists of the virtualized
Servers and Services on them.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning & designing the middleware layout as per the customer needs.
Provide general consultancy on various Middleware aspects.
Decision making on standards/ best practices to be followed across the estate.
Installation and configuration of various WebLogic Server versions ( 8.1, 9.x,

BT- NEO application is the strategic Service Management platform for Service Assurance for
British Telecom; it is built on Amdocs Clarify CRM 7.0 for fulfilling the requirements of
BT’s 21CN vision by integrating Service Assurance Management capabilities onto a single,
next generation, product (Broadband, Voice or PSTN) independent platform. It is the
automation engine for BT Service Fulfillment and Service Assurance and caters to LLU &
WLR (Products OpenReach LoB) and Ethernet, MSIL & Infrastructure (products of
Wholesale LoB).
Primary Responsibilities:
Deploying and tuning of Application.
