Spec-rite Torque Converters - Splendora, TX - March 1995 to October 2013

Responsibilities

Answer customers technical questions, organize parts,jobs and people in order to get orders finished in a

timely manner. Order parts for rebuilding torque Converters. Cut torque Converters apart with a J&L turret

lathe, wash all parts either with a hot tank or solvent tank, machine all surfaces flat and true with a precision

lathe, tig weld all internals with silicon bronze, inspect all parts replace if need be, check and set internal

clearances and clutch release clearance, set overall height, mig weld together using a TCW2000 Auto welder

aligned, balance torque Converter to less than 5 grams, pressure test and inspect welds for leaks and porosity

repair with either a tig or mig welder, paint and package for sale
