PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

CONTRACT MARKETING and CONSULTING 2009 - Present

* Originally contracted to deliver a new website for Managing Energy Inc.,

the project evolved into the development of a new corporate identity,

positioning statement and collateral. Upon completion, these activities

inadvertently attracted an unsolicited buyer and the company was acquired

within a year.

* Successfully completed an on-site assignment to train and lead 12 staff

through the realignment of sales and marketing strategies and activities

for Boomerang Software - an Armenian based software company - resulting

in the positive turnaround in sales and employee satisfaction.

* Other marketing projects included regular work with Direct Line Sales and

their network of customers and suppliers. Work included building websites

and other traditional and online social marketing initiatives. SEO and

SEM projects have resulted in a dramatic reduction in Yellow Page

expenses while increasing number of qualified leads.

ADLIB SOFTWARE (Automated Document Transformation Solutions) 2006 - 2009

Marketing Manager

* Rewrote the marketing plan, redirecting $400,000 from ineffective online

advertising toward a more holistic approach, including targeted direct

marketing programs and on-line campaigns that led to an increase of

hundreds of qualified leads and a million dollar increase in sales.

* Hired and managed a new national marketing team that delivered a new

corporate identity, multinational PR campaign, SEO/SEM programs,

tradeshows, a new website, collateral and several lead-generation

programs, which substantially contributed to the company's ability to

exceed sales forecasts.

Channel Manager

* Hand selected to head up a multi-national experiment to develop a new

reseller channel program. Responsible for the entire business unit,

including budgets, forecasts and schedules for moving forward on both

sales and marketing programs. Successfully recruited reseller partners in

Germany, US, Canada and Australia before the downturn in the economy

prematurely forced the closure of the program.

MEGAMATION SYSTEMS (Enterprise Asset Management - SAAS Model) 2004 - 2006

* Developed and executed new marketing plans and sales staff training;

leading to favorable positioning with analysts, press and prospects.

Results include: 3-fold increase in sales leads, several large contract

wins and an increase in new sales by as much as 40% year over year.

VANENBURG GROUP (Collaboration and Integration Solutions) 2001 - 2004

Marketing Director

* Managed the design of a new award-winning corporate identity while

splitting time between Canada, India and The Netherlands mentoring new

marketing recruits. Also delivered a new website and collateral during

the start-up phase of this greenfield operation called Triffit.

* Played a leadership role as the North American contingent of a new global

marketing team. Led the charge to eventually role up marketing services

to The Netherlands, saving the company hundreds of thousands of dollars

in salaries and expenses.

INVENSYS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) 1999 - 2001

* Oversaw the development of a new channel-oriented application.

Successfully orchestrated the product launch, utilizing international

sales and marketing teams. Hands-on activities and deliverables included;

analyst relations, collateral, interactive sales tools, tradeshows, PR,

advertising and direct mail programs.

* Product expert enlisted to assist in international sales cycles. Required

extensive travel in Asia Pacific, South Africa, Europe and the United

States, resulting in global sales that exceeded initial budgets.

THE BAAN COMPANY (Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP) 1996 - 1999

Industry Marketing Manager / Canadian Marketing Manager

* Led a team of alliance partners, suppliers and colleagues through the

launch of two strategic lines of business, resulting in the dominance of

the Aerospace & Defense and Project Industries ERP space.

* Researched target markets to identify decision makers and influencers;

leading to integrated high six-figure budget marketing plans tackling C-

level executives within targeted companies as well as various influencer

communities including press, analysts, consultants and educational

institutions.

* Developed and launched the Canadian PR program; resulting in a

substantial increase of Baan's presence within strategic national dailies

and trade publications.

* Established formal alliance partner program while working with Microsoft

and Hewlett Packard - driving joint participation in trade shows,

advertising campaigns, special events and direct mail programs.

MAINSTAY COMMUNICATIONS (Marketing Agency - Hardware/Software) 1992 -

1996

Senior Account Executive

* Successfully sold the services of the agency to many hardware and

software companies, including the Baan Company. The services of the

agency included everything from direct mail programs and advertising to

corporate identity programs and sales incentive campaigns to PR programs

and full-scale integrated marketing campaigns such as product launches,

reseller channel programs and market research projects. Results included

an increase in sales by as much as 40% and an increase in head count by

10 people.
