Senior Software Engineer:
Full software life cycle developer of NASA Space Shuttle
and International Space Station software applications: requirements
definition, design, code, test, configuration management, and documentation
in UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments. Interacted with users, other
software groups, and staff members such as project managers, system
administrators, system engineers, and system testers. Development includes
the following various software which generate reports, transfer/scan files,
manage planning flight information, generate uplink/downlink commands,
reconfigure International Space Station telemetry and command data, control
procedure development:
* FFTD Application: Security file transfer software was written in Shell
and PERL scripts to transfer from/to internal/external systems and
scan incoming files in LINUX and Windows environments. The software
was modified to integrate commercial software with API written in
JAVA.
* CMITS Report Application: The CMITS report application is used to
generate reports using MS SQL Server database with MS Visual Studio in
MS Windows.
* FTF Application: File Tracking Form software has front-end GUI written
in C, Motif involved ORACLE database. The back-end is written in UNIX
commands, C, Pro*C and SQL to create, edit, transfer, and archive
Space Shuttle and International Space Station files.
* INTHP & EXTHP Applications (Web based): Internal and External File
application uses web browser as a display to retrieve file records
from ORACLE database. It was written in PHP, HTML, XML, C, Shell
scripts, PERL, Pro*C and SQL.
* Command Server Application: Implemented and tested Command Server
application which was written in C++ to control real-time Uplink and
Downlink commands.
* IMARS Application: IMARS software was developed and implemented with
GUI involved ORACLE database that is used in Program Products and
Ground Facility Configuration for command controls in the
International Space Station. The application has GUI written in C,
Motif with back-end in Pro*C and SQL.
* PDAC Application: Procedure Development and Controls application
provides transaction manipulation functionalities such as edits,
updates and deletes that are written in SQL and Pro*C for various data
structures in flight control procedure development. The front-end GUI
is written in C and Motif in X-Window and run on UNIX platform.
