Fall of 2009
• Led group in a study and made suggestions to improve productivity by optimizing the layout of a
production facility that produced attachments for off-road vehicles. Used manufacturing systems
modeling, determined variability, and found best and worst case scenario lead times.
Spring of 2007
• Led the group to complete a design of a “green home” for Habitat for Humanity. Met objectives to
minimize energy consumption, water usage, and waste while providing affordable housing for low income
families.
Fall of 2006
• Won first place in design by leading the group and personally designed and constructed a prototype
bridge using a magnet set. Our design held the most weight with the least amount of material.
• Led the group, designed and constructed a prototype wheel chair lift using Lego that met the
requirements in speed and safety.
