Daughters of the Nile is an International
organization for women. Our philanthropic purpose is
deeply embedded in our history. Through the Daughters
of the Nile Foundation and Canadian Trust, Daughters
of the Nile contributes over $1.7 million each year
to Shriners Hospitals for Children to be used for
the medical care and rehabilitation of children.
Since 1924, Daughters of the Nile has contributed
more than $50 million dollars. Daughters of the Nile
attained 501(c) 3 status in 2009.
Locally, the chapter is over 400 women of all ages.
I was in charge of a budget of over $50,000.
