My name is Rey Valdes. I am currently working as a property
manager (LCAM) for Custom Property Management Inc. Over
the past eight years I have managed projects in value from five
thousand to over 2.5 million dollars in scope. You will notice on
my resume that I also have extensive experience in information
technology. I am proficient with most PC and mid-frame based
applications (i.e. TOPS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, multimedia
presentation software, Quick Books). I am willing to entertain a
stand-alone/ fixed position or one that requires multiple job sites
(portfolio structured position). I am willing to travel and am
100% bilingual (Spanish-English).

Job History:
Current- LCAM Property manager
Currently assigned to a POA based in Port St. Lucie Florida. My
current position involves the day to day management of a 1,400
acre community with 908 residential home sites. My duties include
but are not limited to;
Subcontractor/master contractor supervision (includes
master contracts for residential landscaping, pool
maintenance, common area landscaping, 24 hours security
guard details, gated thresholds).
Chairman of the Architectural Review Board. This board
maintains a liaison position between the developer and the
onsite builder. All design approvals are reviewed for new
construction consideration.
Daily resident concern resolution.
Yearly operational budgeting (current budget exceeds 3.5
million).
Contractor vetting.
Coordination and approval of estoppels requests.
Tracking aged and non-performing accounts.
Assisting legal team with collections. This includes filing
liens.
Report incidents to board President as they arise.
Direct supervision of in-house maintenance personnel and
receptionists.
November 2003 – 2012: State Certified General Contractor –
President of True Color Enterprises Construction Inc. based in
Palm City Florida, State Certified Community
Association Manager.
Was responsible for management of construction and weather
proofing projects. Our annual gross sales ranged between
$500,000.00 and 1.2 million. Were heavily engaged in the NSP
(neighborhood stabilization project) in the City of Port Saint
Lucie. Our primary scope of work was to rehabilitate individual
properties for resale. The average project that we were involved
in has a monetary value range from nine thousand to fifty five
thousand dollars. We also specialized and focus on commercial
weather proofing and painting projects.
May 1997 – November 2003: Solution Center Manager, Hewlett
Packard Company, Atlanta Georgia
Responsibilities included managing day to day operation of
solution center call center. Managed 17 engineers supporting a
wide array of products and services. Most prominent HPUX and
MPE platforms. Was heavily involved with helping to structure
and implement a 24x7x365 support model. Assisted to recruit no
less than 25 engineers to fill various openings. Was directly
responsible for creating and implementing many of the processes
and procedures required to facilitate a 24x7x365 operation. These
processes enabled the organization achieve no less than 100%
direct connect for our world wide customer base.
June 1994 – May 1997: Solution Center Engineer, Hewlett
Packard Company, Atlanta Georgia.
Responsible for high-level systems analysis and the solving of
complex technical problems on the MPE and HPUX platforms.
Delivered telephone consultation and isolation of complex
technical problems as well as ensuring verification of resolution.

Worked closely with members and teams within HP to provide

June 1990-June 1994: Information Technology Solutions
Specialist, Hewlett Packard Company, Santa Clara California.
Managed customer business and system resources. Managed
systems including configuring hardware, software, and firmware
updates as well as internal and third party SW updates/upgrades.
Provided complex resolution and consulting to internal customers.
Developed and implemented departmental processes and
procedures. Performed system performance measurement,
analysis, and capacity planning as needed. Lead and participated
in project teams (including OV DTC MGR implementation).
Defined and implemented standards needed to achieve consistent
system configurations and system management. MPE focused.
May 1983-June 1990: Held various system management as well
as application support roles within Hewlett Packard. More detail
