Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensures the application of, and compliance with HSE Policies and

Procedures;

- Contribute to the development and implementation of the HSE Management

system (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001);

- Participates in, and/ or facilitates and coordinates Task Risk

Assessments & Operations Risk Assessments;

- Assists with internal and external HSE Audits & Inspections;

- Assists with Technical HSE inputs for Incident Investigation, Incident

Review & Analysis;

- Manage systems for logging Non-conformance, complaints/ incidents,

investigate/ review/ analysis and recommend corrective / preventive

actions, ensure implementation and evaluate effectiveness.

- Develop and implement SHUTDOWN Mandatory & selective HSE Training

Matrix for employees aimed to promote loss prevention among personnel

- Prepare Operational & Task Risk Assessments in accordance with work

packs for different SHUTDOWN activities and vessel entry

- Review designs of new projects and plant modifications, to ensure that

all safety requirements are included and provide recommendations

accordingly.

Accidents & Incidents, and HSE Projects;

Emergency response Plans & Procedures;

- Provide technical input and assistance with the development, review

and implementation of HSE Procedures as required;

Roles and Responsibilities

- Carry out HSE Inspections

- Enhancement of the HSE culture across the project

- Raising corrective actions when non-conforming conditions are detected

and ensuring effective corrective / preventive action is implemented

- Enforce the use of safe work practices using corrective action and

recognition programs.

- Coordinate and conduct all required incident and injury

investigations, review investigations and corrective actions, and

ensure corrective actions are brought to closure.

- Maintain employee workplace training and work place inspection records

including corrective actions.

August 2007 - October 2008: OHSAS 18001 IS 1400 Certification Project

Engineer (ENI ANADARKO CEPSA and SONATRACH Joint Venture).

- Correspondence with the Consultant Company (DNV) through phone / fax

/e-mail.

- Help out Consultant Company (DNV) during the Gap Analysis and

Environmental Impact Assessment EIA.

- Co-ordination, communication and review of given tasks to the

Department's Representatives.

- Communicate the progress of the project to top Management.

- Verify the development and implementation of policy,

- Updating procedures and other documentation included in the OO HSE

Management System to fulfil the OHSAS' requirements.

- Create additional procedures, and other documentation to fulfil the

requirements of the family of standards OHSAS 18000.

- Develop training activities for OO personnel to aware about procedures

and records of the OH&S-MS.

- Definition of the conditions of contract and management of relation

with certification organism (Bureau VERITAS).
