Strategically plan daily site purchase orders for appropriate domestic and international suppliers. Plan
production and purchase parts through purchase orders in MRP system to support production from
sales driven orders. Negotiate price with all vendors on production parts as well as items to support
production. Manage and develop procurement strategies, procedures and stocking levels based on
information reported by sales. Work closely with logistics and receiving to maintain accurate inventory
levels and to obtain the most cost effective shipping quotes. Audit and supervise bi-annual physical
inventories as well as weekly cycle counts. Manage and plan cost effective inventory levels utilizing
MRP processes while establishing and maintaining inventory targets. Maintain MRP system by issuing
new part numbers, updating existing part numbers, costs and vendor information. Create multilevel
bills of material (BOM) within MRP system. Report costs increases in MRP system to accounting to

(R&D) and engineering to manage quality issues from purchased materials. Manage defective material

expeditor activities. Researched all potential new sources, Request for Quote (RFQ), solicited
proposals, bids, negotiated pricing, and terms of service with suppliers. Request, analyze, and negotiate
Request for Purchase (RFP) for long term and short term contracts. Coordinate and plan with various
levels of management including sales, marketing, accounting, transportation and production when
dealing with customer due dates, mode of transportation, ship dates, and rejected material. Negotiate
blanket orders, establish long term supplier alliances with guaranteed price profiles, resolve supplier
invoice issues. Expedite to align/realign materials to customer demand. Investigate material
excess/transfer potential to minimize inventory investments. Manage hazardous waste removal as well
as request new profiles from local authorities when new waste is generated.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels and spot checks for three sister companies with
a 99.6 accuracy physical count average.
• Created a complete inventory system for a new sister start up company with over 1,000 sku
including part identification, procuring inventory and working with logistics to obtain the best
possible freight quotes.

vendors that equated to annual savings.
