Job Description

Compilation and processing of transactional Payroll and Time data. This

requires earning/collaboration with other team that deliver

payment/deductions via payroll .

Process payroll requirements in payroll system.(monthly. Year-end, off-

cycle)

Preparation and processing of Final Settlement/Terminal Pay.

Ensure accuracy of employee and employer contribution for statutory

requirements. This requires knowledge of tax and labor laws of the country

managed.

Ensure accuracy of other payments and deduction calculated by the system.

This requires in-depth knowledge of the company policies(e.g overtime,

allowances).

Generation of pay statements and other business reports.

Generation of statutory reports. This requires knowledge/understanding of

the country forms and government guidelines to complete these. The process

owner should also have the capacity to verify that all information reported

is accurate and legally compliant.

Remittance of payment for employees, government offices and 3rd parties.

Journal entries posting, accruals, account reconciliation (requires

knowledge of company's accounting guidelines and in-depth knowledge of

payroll accounting matters).

Interface with external customers for request &/or issue resolution. (E.g

bank, governments officers, client vendor)

Remittance of payments to tax authorities, government offices and 3rd

parties.

Document monthly payroll scorecard, including and resolution tracking.

Acts as tier 2 issue resolution of Payroll and time management related

matters.

Responsible for Legal Change management.

Implements internal control measures and conducts regular control self

assessments to ensure that processes meet IC requirements.

Conducts UAT testing for new legal change required by the client.(e.g tax

rates, loan rates, wagetype testing, tax calculation, tax reporting system)

from payroll processing for Asia Pacific.

Conducts Compliance Testing. As part of business controls, conducts

compliance testing audits to ensure that practitioners follow the agreed

control point for processing payroll, time management, bank transactions,

Create SOP's to standardize case management, revises and reviews SOP's as

required by the client.

Report on data gathered. Prepares Metrics / Management reporting.

Prepares the monthly scorecard for different markets (country) and is

submitted to global management.
