BACKGROUND
I graduated from "Thapar Institute of Engineering of Technology" India,
with Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil/structural Engineering and
gained knowledge and experience from exposure to a vide variety of
construction projects with major international organizations including
Ledcor Industrial Inc AREVA T & D,ALSTOM, Quorex Construction, DS
Construction ltd. etc. My 22+ years of international experience in
construction include 6 years in North American, 8 year in the Middle East,
5 years in Libya and 3 years in India. I am registered with APEGA as a
professional member and I have gained experience through a series of
increasingly responsible positions from Junior Engineer Site Manager on
industrial and commercial projects. My expertise include leading
Engineering and coordination meetings, resolving engineering and
constructability issues, change management, document control, scope and
project controls and interaction with trades, consultants and clients.
Besides expertise in Civil and structural, I have experience working in a
multi-discipline project environment and I have a good working knowledge of
several other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, piping and air
conditioning etc. I am very skilled at coordinating multiple disciplines
and am adept at providing solutions for conflicts. I have earned PMP
designation through my construction management experience and education. I
am a LEED Accredited Professional, have understanding of LEED certification
process and experience working on LEED project. I enjoy the challenge of

. Lead engineering meetings; participate in safety, contract and schedule
meetings, completion and material coordination meetings.
. Project administration including writing, discussing and tracking RFIs,
pricing for changes, review of shop drawings and coordination of
information provided and required by sub-trades and suppliers.
. Working closely with project manager, superintendents, project control
group, schedulers, turnover to communicate required information.
. Work closely with Quality Management Team to make sure adherence to
Project Quality Plan and meet client's quality standards. Review
NCRs/QSRs and propose NCR dispositions and preventive measures.

. Reported to and worked closely with Project Manager to ensure that all
tasks associated with LEED certification are tracking well.
. Wrote queries to resolve construction issues, updated tracking list,
coordinated and addressed issues and concerns of sub trades, U of S,
FMD, USSU, architect and trade consultants.
. Attended meetings with client, consultants and major sub trades,
scheduled tasks, prepared deliverables, reported weekly progress,
validating LEED check list/approvals, priced for PCs &CDs, identified
and escalated issues to project Manager.
. Communicated with sub-trades, consultants, owner, suppliers and head
office.
. Prepared project quality plan, and I was solely responsible for the
project quality control and quality assurance.

. Determined scope of work from EWPs, prepared and issued Field
Installation Work packages (FIWP), wrote RFIs (used contracts manager
program), resolved engineering issues, quality control inspections,
verified work instructions were current, conducted field inspections,
assisted work face planning, provided reports on actual work completed
(used foreman work place program), cost control, recorded as-built and
coordination meetings.
Accomplishments:
. Successfully introduced and adopted FIWP (Field Installation work
Package) system to deliver engineering information, QAQC requirements,
materials, sequence of activities, equipment and tools required and
safety considerations to field personnel.

Responsibilities: Civil Works Supervisor & Engineer
Projects: 400/132kV, 220/33/11kV, 400kV Substations at Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
. Supervised site activities, prepared weekly monthly progress reports,
design review, resolved constructability issue, multidiscipline
coordination meetings, scheduled monitoring, prepared invoices,
supervised quality control and quality assurance team and selected
subcontractors.
Accomplishments:
. Worked as civil works manager, 400kV/33kV/11kV substation commissioned
within 18 months from the date of contract awarded. Worked in two
shifts to achieve the milestone. AREVA secured other projects with the
client for their performance.
