Position: Director of Business Development
My primary responsibilities are to travel throughout the Southeastern Region of the United States trying
to maintain my existing relationships with my current customer/client base, as well as developing new
relationships with some of Suncor’s existing customer base. One of my goals were to try and convince my
existing book of customers to use Suncor, Inc. for the purpose of structural steel fabrication.

Position: Director of Business Development, Southeast Region
My primary responsibilities are to travel the Southeastern/Eastern Region of the United States
maintaining my relationships with my current customer/client base, as well as developing new
relationships with potential customers. My customer base consists of Commercial General Contractors,
E.P.C Firms, and Power/Utilities Companies. For some of our higher profile projects, I may stay onsite
for a period of time to make sure that our clients/customers are satisfied with what we are doing from the
fabrication/Project Management aspect of the business.

Position: Regional Sales Manager
Primary responsibilities were to build, as well as maintain our client relationships in the Southeastern
portion of the United States. Customer base included hundreds of clients that could possibly generate
anywhere from $60-$90 million annually for my employer. I handled the power/gen, nuclear, industrial,
renewable energy and commercial markets for
Cives, Southern Division. Below is a short list of projects that I took part in selling while I was with
Cives Steel Company.

Position: Vice President of Sales
Primary responsibilities were to oversee a small group of Project Managers, as well as the projects that
they were managing, as well as the estimators in the company. I generated the estimate, entered all of the
information into the estimating software, and negotiated the contracts for all of the estimates that I
produced. I also oversaw the daily operations for the company, when the President of the company wasn’t
available.

Position: Outside Sales Representative/Project Manager
Primary responsibilities were to generate sales with customers by performing material take-offs from
detailed drawings. Meeting with new, potential customers, as well as with my existing clients was an
everyday occurrence. Working for this particular company, I sought out the potential client, performed my
own estimates, and made the sale for each particular project. Once the project was under contract, which I
also negotiated, I managed the project from conception to completion. I personally managed anywhere
from 5-10 projects at time, all the while maintaining a high level of customer service.
September 1999- July 2000, Porter Steel Company
Position: Project Manager
Primary responsibilities were to see that the project that I was managing at that particular time was
fabricated, erected and completed on or before the scheduled completion date. I managed the erection
crews, worked with other sub-contractors, as well as the job superintendents to ensure that the project was
completed in a timely, efficient manner. Creating change orders, maintaining, as well as creating the
schedule of values for invoicing. My average size of an erection crew for each project ranged from 5-15
workers.
