was appointed Corporate Manufacturing and Packaging Superintendent for the entire US Division, in charge of all
engineering changes for current products and plant layout for new products implementation.

• Improved by 25% the labor efficiency of the Engineering and HSE Departments.
• Managed all Capital Projects for the Anderson and Duncan Plants, including new layouts and plant expansion ( over
$5 Million).

Served as Manager of the Manufacturing Engineering and Mold Maintenance Departments. Responsible for all capital
projects and for new product launches, new technologies implementation, and cost improvement projects.
Accomplishments:
• Saved over $2.7 Million / year after process optimization, re-engineering of processes and equipment upgrade as follows:
• Developed the process, re-engineered the equipment and implemented in production two ABS materials as replacement for
PVC in thermoforming - savings over $1.8 Million. / Year.
• Designed and coordinated the installation of a filtration system – savings $150 k / year.
• Developed a new Polyurethane as alternative material for acrylic and gel coat composites products – potential savings $
10 Million / year.

• Managed the engineering / robotic technicians and the Mold Maintenance Department.

years. After that I was appointed Quality Systems Director in charge of ISO 9000-2000 implementation and certification for
both plants of Nero Plastics.
Accomplishments and Responsibilities:
• Managed the engineering projects from design to production (complete hoods and body parts), for
Caterpillar, Delphi, Jeep, Kenworth and New Flyer (including ten RTM and four compression molds), and the
day-to-day activities of the manufacturing engineering, tooling and maintenance departments to ensure objectives are
achieved.
• Support the implementation of organizational tools such as Scrap Track System, TPM, Kanban and MRP
- Visual Manufacturing.
• Implemented "First piece inspection” and "Corrective Action Plan" - decreased the scrap by 3%.
• Developed two new Polyester resins for RTM with Ashland and Reichold and negotiated the price - saved 110 K
per year.
• Organize the maintenance department to assure preventative maintenance is established and recorded
(including a 5S and a CMMS program implementation).
• Mentor and train the manufacturing engineering staff to prepare them for future project and
manufacturing management positions.
• Elaborate ISO / QS9000 procedures and standards for project management, preventive maintenance,

Served as Corporate Engineering Director overseeing the Corporate Design and Technologies Center for trucks and
automotive. In charge of managing all Engineering, Tooling and Maintenance activities in all four Canadian and US Plants.
