WORK EXPERIENCE
Lowe's, Texas City, Texas 04/2013 - Present
Assembler
My duties include assembling just about every product the store needs; displays, special orders for customers, and various floor plan
designs. Right when I come in, I immediately start working. For the most part I keep to my self in the back, and assemble products
as fast and detailed as I can. But I'm still considered a customer service associate, so I know how to help our customers and find
exactly what they need for their projects, home maintenance, etc.
Premier Chemical, Glenns Ferry, Idaho 09/2012 - 03/2013
Sales Agent
Basically I was a door-to-door sales agent, which means I would be placed in a neighborhood and I convinced people to convert to a
new all purpose and green cleaner. It was all day 8am to 9-11pm, Saturday through Friday. I started in Iowa, worked through
Oklahoma and New Mexico, and towards the end made it back to Texas. It was very tough, but it taught me a what it means to be
personable, energetic, persistent, and understanding what it means to really give the customer a positive experience.
Subway, Texas City, Texas 06/2012 - 09/2012
Sandwich Artist
My responsibilities included tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping entire restaurant, preparing ingredients, taking
and fulfilling orders, operating the cash register, and storing produce. I learned a lot about how to work in a fast pace, for example,
usually it was just me and one other person and during a dinner rush, which could yield anywhere from 10-30 people per hour, yet
we still maintained our quality and kept our customers satisfied with great service.
