may have a alcohol or other drug addiction. I also
overseen other clinical staff and was responsible for
ensuring the proper implementation of new states and
federal regulations as well as all routine correspondence
needed to for state, federal and local agency compliance.

Drug Court Liaison
The Drug Court Liaison position was established with the
Rock Island County Adult Probation and the Center for
Alcohol and Drug Services to help offenders of the law who
suffer from substance abuse have a voice in the criminal
justice system. I was responsible for providing the courts
with weekly reports on the progress of the offender as they
attempt to change their lives. The program was designed to
have the offender undergo substance abuse and mental health
evaluations to determine if they were appropriate for the
chance to be released from jail and enter the Drug Court
program. The program allowed for those who successfully
completed to have their criminal record sealed.
