Tablet and BlackBerry 10 models pilot projects from engineering build to

high volume commercial build at multiple Contract Manufacturer (CM) sites

including global carrier launching.

. Arranged and analyzed New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering builds

from concept to mass production and drove design and supplier issues to

the resolution.

- Managed Curve 9300 series engineering build locally and 3 CM sites,

started mass production ahead of schedule at 7 CM (contract

manufactures) site worldwide. Average volume of 3M per quarter.

- Managed P9981 engineering build locally and mass production at 2 CM

BlackBerry Q5 and Z30 products by effectively coordinating

. Removed production roadblocks consistently by collaborating training and

coaching of Contract Manufacturers (CM) helped improving line

qualification and ramp readiness schedule and resolution of production

issues, including attainment, yield, and material on a daily basis

through webinars or onsite support by core group.

- Provided round the clock support and guidance to all CM sites

worldwide in different time zones.

contract manufacturers (CM) sites, ensuring First Article Inspection

(FAI) pass and on time delivery.

2008 - 2011

Managed team of 40 Quality Line Inspectors and Outgoing Quality

Technicians. Accountable for yield and quality balance during engineering

builds and mass production at CM's site, hiring, and performance reviews.

Led corporate-wide quality improvement initiatives.

. Reduced overall quality defects 3% during engineering build and mass

production by introducing visual control boards on manufacturing floor

and providing defect and yield reports, including major yield detractors

and defect trend charts, to all stakeholders.

- Reduced overall quality defects by 3% on BlackBerry 9100, 9700 and

- Started hourly yield visual boards on production line and every 2

hour by email to stake holders and daily weekly and monthly Pareto

chart and major yield detractors and comparisons.

for 250+ subject matter experts, operators, and assemblers and component
