Responsible for valuation of properties for resale, on a national scale, including rehabilitation/repair estimations on properties with minimal to severe deferred maintenance. Assigning an As-Is and As Repaired values to the properties as they are prepared to be placed on the market for sale to the public. Accurately reconciling Appraisals and BPO’s and meet execution rates in line with FNMA guidelines of 95-105% accuracy. Apply current market conditions to each valuation using regional MLS data, regional market trends and performing DOM (Days On Market) analysis. Conduct research and analysis on client collateral utilizing expertise, internal/external property valuation tools and resources. Assessing collateral’s compliance with current zoning and any corrective action that may need to be taken to ensure zoning compliance. Appraisal Analysts are responsible for reviewing property valuations to ensure compliance with Federal/State law and SunTrust Risk policy to ensure that loans secured with real estate are protected with adequate collateral value. Responsible for physically inspecting, measuring and assessing the condition of collateral on behalf of various clients, which include private mortgage lenders as well as large name brand banks. Analyzing current market conditions and recent sales to determine current market value of single-family homes, town homes, condominiums, real estate owned (REO) properties, mobile and manufactured homes, vacant land and multi-family properties of up to 4 units in the Central Florida area.
