Selfridge Air National Guard Base - Mount Clemens, MI - April 2007 to Present

Inspects, troubleshoots, and maintains aircraft E & E systems, subsystems, components, and associated test

equipment. E & E on-equipment systems include direct and alternating current; gas turbine compressors and

auxiliary power units; landing gear, anti-skid, and nose wheel steering; electronic engine control, ignition, and

starting; lighting; master caution and warning; take-off warning; flight control; stall warning; speed brakes;

cargo door and cargo delivery equipment; non-electro static application windows; anti-icing; fire and overheat

warning; fire extinguishing and suppression; fuel control; liquid cooling; air conditioning, bleed air, cabin

controllers; inverters; converters; voltage regulators; nose wheel steering and anti-skid amplifiers; capacitors;

generators and integrated drive generators; actuators, relays, motors, and valves; lighting equipment; fire

and overheat panels; fire extinguishing equipment; aircraft batteries; and special equipment testers. Performs

cryogenic maintenance on mobile aircraft servicing units. Maintains electrical wiring and connectors. Maintains

compressed gas equipment.

Inspects and evaluates aircraft E & E maintenance activities. Determines operational status of assigned

assets. Interprets inspection findings and determines corrective actions. Ensures compliance with technical

publications and directives.

Lead multiple person crews on multi-day projects to complete reset merchandising services primarily in home

improvement stores, hardware stores, and mass merchant retailers. Was responsible for project execution of

resets, new store set-up, remodels, fixture and gondola installations. Fluent in plan-o-gram comprehension

and store layout utilizing a floor print/schematic. Fixture installation skills, gondola, pallet racking, H-Frames,

I have a deep understanding of DC, AC and Electronic fundamentals to include electron theory, magnetism,

voltage generation, Kirchhoff’s law, Ohms law, resistance and power formulas, DC motors, control protective

devices, inductors, capacitors, voltage generation, transformers, AC motors, solid state devices, power

supplies, amplifiers circuits, electronic voltage regulators and logic gates.

Fluent with multi-meter usage in measuring Voltage (V), Current (I) and Resistance (Ohms). Deep

understanding of oscilloscope usage, frequency generators and programmable data loggers. I am familiar with

basic engineering formulas and calculations. I have the ability to use power tools and have experience with

basic modification of testing fixtures. I have excellent trouble shooting skills with pneumatic, electric servos

and hydraulic systems. Expert knowledge in the use of dc power supplies, voltage regulators, micrometers,

feeler gauges, jet-cal testers, throttle quadrant testers, DC power supplies, voltage regulators, relay and circuit

breaker panel testers, micrometers, feeler gauges and a large variety of hand tools.
