Manager, Sterile Processing and Distribution
Responsible for daily operations sterile processing services, receiving and tracking of vendor
instrumentation, decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization and distribution of all
surgical instrumentation and medical devices used in surgery. Compliance with regulatory agencies
regarding surgical instrumentation, employee safety, equipment, and environmental controls. Report to
Central Division AVP Surgical Services. Manage 36 FTEs to include education coordinator, operations
coordinators/supervisors, instrument techs I, II, III, and IV. Collaborate & strategize w/OR and Central
Division leadership teams to optimize efficiency & allocation of resources: staffing, equipment,
instrumentation resources.

Responsible for teaching IAHCSMM Central Sterile Processing program. The course consisted of 112 hours
classroom and 40 clinical hours. Upon completion of the course students were able to apply the principles of
sterilization/disinfection and distribution of instruments, supplies, equipment in the workplace.
