I have several years of experience in quality, environmental, health
and safety and operations management in a wide range of manufacturing
environments. As a quality manager, quality engineer and ISO
management representative, I have developed, implemented and
maintained ISO 9001 and TS 16949 quality management systems. I also
have several years of experience as an EHS Manager. I have developed,
implemented and maintained EHS programs certified to ISO 14001 and
OHSAS 18001. I also have experience responding to and addressing OSHA
inquiries. I have also been successful in significantly reducing
customer complaints as well as the associated cost through improved
product quality. I have several years of experience as the primary
point of contact for resolving customer complaints and management of
warranty processes. Given the number of roles that I have held
concurrently, my ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
has been proven over the years. Methods such as root cause analysis,
statistical process controls (SPC), six sigma based methods, and lean
manufacturing principles have been used to improve processes starting
at the point of design concept. My quality assurance experience
includes extensively working with customers, suppliers, domestic and
international contract manufacturers, the sales force, and
manufacturing personnel. Advanced product quality planning, FMEA's,
and control plans were used in many cases to ensure that new product
rollouts were successful. I also have extensive experience in the
evaluation and development of quality validation and quality check
systems. I have experience developing standard operating procedures
(SOP's), specifications, FMEA's, and control plans for all of the
production processes in a manufacturing facility. I have been
certified as an internal auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS16949 and
OHSAS 18001 management systems, and I have conducting internal audits
for more than thirteen years in a wide variety of industries.
I also have operations/production management experience. As an
Operations Manager, I was responsible for all manufacturing operations
at the plant including meeting monthly revenue targets and
verification of forecast, profit and loss goals, developing budgets,
meeting manufacturing metrics, warehousing, headcount, EH&S (including
hazardous waste management), shipping and receiving, purchasing,
inventory, scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, and customer service.
I have also worked closely with both the sales force and the customer
on issues such as meeting customers' changing requirements and
resolving problems. I have extensive experience in the development
and use of production scheduling and capacity management systems (i.e.
MRP and ERP systems) as well as efficiency, utilization and waste
tracking reports. I have managed several new product introductions as
well as new equipment acquisitions and installations. I have
initiated several lean manufacturing and six sigma process improvement
projects that have resulted in substantial real life savings.
In short, I have general knowledge of many different manufacturing
processes and business operations and have been a success problem
solver and change facilitator. I have managed personnel in both union
and non-union environments. I have also managed both hourly and
salaried employees, and I have experience developing and presenting
complete training programs for new processes and procedures.
Sincerely,
Albert Hall
