Summary
Highly motivated to work as a Wireless communication engineer. Currently seeking opportunities in industry to learn
more and at the same time contribute through my resourceful academic skills. Have a good academic background and
understanding in the following areas:
Wireless Communication System Design
Mobile and Wireless
Networks
Cellular Networks(2G/3G/4G/CDMA)
Computer Networks
Technologies for LTE(OFDM/MIMO)
Microwaves
Error Control Coding
By perseveringly completing the projects like designing of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) system in C++
and Implementation of new Medium Access Control protocol for Ad-hoc Sensor Networks using Network Simulator,
acquired better understanding and practical knowledge in the areas of Spread Spectrum and Wireless Network
Protocols.

Academic Projects
Designing of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Communication System
• Accomplished the Design of a Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Communication System in
which many users could communicate with each other in the same channel, without interfering with each
other
• Created C++ codes for the spreading sequences like PRN and Gold
• Suggested and implemented algorithms in C++ to calculate correlation functions of the received signals
• Recommended sequences with better orthogonal performance to be used as spreading sequences
• Achieved better autocorrelation of received signals using gold and kasami sequences
• Attained a satisfactory Bit to Error ratio at the receiver end
Implementation of a new medium access protocol in Network Simulator-2
• Implemented a new medium access control protocol based on perceived data reliability and spatial correlation in
wireless sensor network
• Designed the network topology using tcl scripting in NS-2
• Proposed new algorithms to improve spatial correlation and implemented them using C++
• Achieved the reduction in packet collision rate at the sink node
• Attained better throughput in the mesh type sensor network
OFDM implementation in MATLAB simulink for 802.15 (WPAN) standard
• Studied basics of OFDM technique for wireless technologies
• Learnt about mitigation of multipath fading using OFDM in wireless fading channels
• Implemented OFDM system in Simulink for 802.15 standard
Simulink implementation of Space Time Block codes for Adaptive MIMO system
• Studied the basics of Alamouti & STBC
• Implemented STBC for adaptive MIMO systems with Tx and Rx antenna numbers varying from 2 to 4
• Used Frame error rate as reference to increase or decrease the number of Tx and Rx antennae
• Observed the change in Frame error rate(FER) with varying number of antennae
