Q UALIFICATIONS

• Conducting incoming aircraft inspection, primary inspections, final inspection, aging

aircraft inspections, and auditing approved vendors. Assuring approved vendors follow

World Airways GMM and company policy manuals, Auditing Task Card and Work Order

Scope items.

• Understand the principles and practices of supervision to direct activities of aircraft

mechanics and aviation line personnel.

• Conducting Quality Assurance and Quality Control Operations.

• Knowledge of aviation maintenance programs

• Prepare detailed written documents using prescribed formats to prepare repair estimates,

FAA reports, maintenance records, logbooks, budget information, and bid specifications.

• Certified on the following aircraft type DC-8, 727, A-300, DC-10, MD-11 and 747-400.

• Currently hold qualification for RVSM (CAT II/III), RII, AWR, Receiving Inspection, and LLM.

• Performed aircraft operational runs, operational checks and operational tests, as required

in the performance of maintenance procedures.

• Performed pre-flight checks prior to departures, and walk-through final inspections.

• Maintain currency of the aircrafts technical library and ensures that manuals are up to date.

• Diagnosing, Troubleshooting, and Interpret drawings of Interior Modification, Seat

Installation, and Emergency Equipment per LOPA’s. Read and Interpret Avionics, Electrical,

Fuel, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic system drawings.

• Approve work orders and vendor invoices in order to authorize contract vendor services.

Quality Control Inspector at World Airways, Peach Tree City, GA (2006 – Present)

• Perform assigned inspection functions in accordance with Company general procedures

and other Company manuals to ensure aircraft are airworthy and serviceable.

• Review all associated documentation utilized for aircraft inspections to ensure proper

completion of all entries, and sign off prior to airworthiness release.

• Perform technical inspection of aircraft airframe, power plant, electrical, avionics, hydraulic,

fuel and pneumatic systems

• Assist in the inspection and ensure all Maintenance Tasks, ERA’s, EO’s, AD’s, FCD’s,

Service Bulletin are being followed in accordance with World Airways GMM, IPC, SRM, AMM,

and the FARs.

• Submitted SDR’s for FAA, MCR, and Engineering IMDR requests for task cards revision

changes, cover letters for EI requests.

Quality Control Inspector Supervisor at Gearhart Aviation Services, Blytheville, AR (2003 –

2006)
