• ULTRASONIC RANGE METER
It is used for find the distance of the object of a range meter.

We used the ATMEL 8051 micro controller, A two line lcd display is used thr for distance

display, 40 kHz transmitter and receiver, Two LM358 amplifiers are used for signal
amplifying, 4051 (NAND gate ic) used to compose SR-FF and to hold the detection
condition of the ultrasonic, 4069 (INVERTOR ic) is used for the drive circuit of ultrasonic
sensor.
• CLASS – B COMMUTATION OF SCR
It is used for transfer of current from one path to another in the circuit.

We used SCR – TY2P4M, UJT – 2N2646 for triggering plus of the scr for turn on of

scr, LC circuit used for the turn off the scr.

We used 6A10 diode for bridge rectifier, and then we used LM317 regulated ic for regulated

power supply, IC- 7555 for adjustable high frequency, HD74LS76A for 50% duty cycle and
get inverting output waveform, CD-4050 buffer ic for time delay circuit, MCT2E for gate
driving vircuit of inverter.
We used FGA25N120 igbt for switching device of inverter.
