Plant Manager-Dallas, Texas / Production Manager- Dayton, Ohio - As Plant

Manager, I was directly involved in every aspect of the manufacturing

process. Responsible for maintaining the budget, human resources, and all

logistic and supply needs. Production Manager responsibilities include

execution of all manufacturing changes, and daily audits of process and

personnel. Overall scrap and efficiency of both facilities are my

responsibility.

departments. Responsible for shipping to warehouses and direct sales world

wide. Have lead two Kaizen events to increase efficiency and reduce

minimize any opportunity for an incident.

2007 - 2010 (Plant closed)

Supervisor - Supervised production and fabrication department for an

injection molding facility, which specialized in industrial applications.

Improved the safety culture and maintained a record of 0 lost time

accidents for 18 months. Exceeded Company standards for reducing downtime

and scrap. Increased the OEE above the company standard. Implemented

standard work processes and organization of work cells, also worked on

value stream mapping to eliminate down time.

LEAR CORPORATION Huron, Ohio 2006 - 2007

Supervisor - Dealt exclusively with mold setters to implement SMED

principles. Maintained all overtime and payroll records for the shift.

Oversaw a compression molding department as well as off line assembly area.

Worked with Quality Department to reduce the number of customer complaints.

ENGINEERED PLASTIC PRODUCTS Lima, Ohio 2005

Facilities Manager - Organized the Maintenance department and established a

tool room to reduce the outsourcing of tools for repairs. Started and

maintained a preventive maintenance schedule, while starting a working

inventory of expendable supplies for the tool and maintenance departments.

Maintained building and secondary equipment and scheduled outside

contactors for general building and maintenance support.

2005

Production Superintendent - Coordinated with the Scheduling Department to

streamline mold and color changes to reduce downtime and scrap. Established

work practices with Process Technicians and Mold Setters to reduce downtime

all new mold setups, and processes. Directly responsible for all

Operations Manager -- Organized Kaizen and 5's teams to bring effective

change in attitude of the plant. Stressed employee involvement to bring

about change throughout the work force. Worked as a team member on AQP

planning with Engineering, and Quality to ensure a smooth transition of new

processes. Helped process new tools and trouble shoot issues for the tool

room. Reworked the mold change system to reduce waste in time and

materials, by 70%. Reduced changeovers 15% by changing the production

schedule to make it more efficient.

DELPHI-AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS Warren, Ohio

1994 - 2000

Process Engineer - Worked in a tool try out lab where all tools were

approved by quality and all processes were optimized. The lab was part of a

new plant start up and all tools need to be approved before production.

Also tested and made recommendations on new molding equipment, such as

dryers, separators, color blenders, and material moving systems

Supervisor - Held positions as a lead supervisor in a final inspection area

for quality approval, also supervised an assembly area. As a supervisor for

the injection molding department, I was responsible for 80 injection

molding machines, mold changes, and color changes.

Facilities Manager - Maintained the maintenance and general upkeep for 500

person Army reserve center. All contracts for general repairs and labor

were my responsibility. The administrative and financial support section

for one of the five Army Reserve Units was under my direct supervision.
