-Internship with the Department of the Interior in Historic Preservation.
Worked on two main projects throughout the summer. One was to document
the restoration of an out building on a historic plantation. Had to photograph
and record all changes during the restoration. The other was to lead a paint
study where paint strippers were tested on historic brick. This study was going
to be used to decide what paint strippers worked best on historic buildings
without damaging them.
