with golf course, tennis, swimming and fitness center.

Human Resources Representative (7/99 - 3/13)

Performing Human Resources functions for over 375 employees in all

departments including; Food and Beverage, Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Fitness,

Maintenance, Housekeeping, Catering and Administration Offices.

. Assisted developing, implementing and enforcing policies and

procedures, employee recruitment, selection, orientation, coaching,

counseling, training, programs, wellness, safety, workers'

compensation, pay and performance reviews, progressive discipline,

employee recognition, benefits, compensation, problem solving.

. Support management team by providing HR related recommendations,

counseling, researching, developing, implementing and updating

policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and

enforcing Club values.

. Overseeing all work-related injury claims, safety committee, conduct

safety and loss prevention meetings with carriers, safety inspections,

accident investigations, employee safety training and enforcing all

policies and procedures as outlined in the safety program.

. Administer all pre-employment background checks and drug tests as well

as tests for reasonable suspicion and post accidents. Comply will all

OSHA occupational illness and injury recordkeeping and reporting.

Monitoring all personal and medical leaves, short and long term

disability.

. Keeping all employee records in order, including personnel files,

workers' comp, HR confidential, medical and employment eligibility (I-

9) documents.

. Organizing employee training on anti-harassment, safety role and

accountability, accident investigation, first aid and other required

training. Record keeping and monitoring of all required certifications

for managers, personal trainers, massage therapists, lifeguards, swim

coaches, food handlers and cooks.

. Assist with the organization and execution of all employee programs,

such as Employee Scholarship, Financial Assistance, Employee Referral,

recognition, training, health and safety.

. Translating handbooks, documents and new hire orientations to Spanish.

Beverage Assistant (1/86 - 12/98)

. Responsibilities in the Beverage Department included bartending,

proper set up of all bars for banquet events, golf and tennis

tournaments and other special events.

. Ordering and receiving bar supplies, wines, spirits and tobacco.

. Accountable for conducting monthly inventory of all beer, wine, liquor

and tobacco and conducting inventories after every event.

. Monitoring stock of all bars, cleanliness and service.
