As President of Cheney Engineering, Inc., Mr. Cheney was

southern Wisconsin. Included engineering and surveying for over

350 residential and commercial lots.

twelve construction inspectors and served as liaison between

the contractor and the City's Construction Management

consultant. Numerous unforeseen site conditions were

encountered on this project including areas of contaminated

soils. Project schedules and budgets were maintained.

Lead structural engineer on this $10 million utility

expansion. Responsible for the design of underground

utilidors, 5' X 7' cast-in-place concrete tunnels in which

steam, sanitary sewer, and water were routed through the

Base. Also responsible for the design of thrust restraint for

high pressure steam and water piping, with sizes up to 24

inch diameter, suspended within the utilidor structures.
