Systems Engineer - MOBL unit
Profile:
. Understanding client requirements from technical perspective given by
onsite Client facing team.
. Generating Technical and High Level Design from the requirements,
identifying resources, software required and designing backend
structure (if any).
. Generating User Interface wireframes which follow the design
conventions of the client's organization.

> mInsurance
This is a windows 8 surface application designed from insurance
agent perspective which maintains details about insurance policies.
It has features such as customer registration, premium
calculations, agent appointment management and agent dashboard.
Technologies Used: Windows 8 surface development, SQL for backend and WCF
web service.
Responsibilities:
o Designing technical and High Level Documents
o Designing UI pages in XAML and C#
o Fetching data from backend and displaying data based on user's
input.
> Incident Management System
This is a windows 8 surface application and is a ticket resolution
system where the 'users' could raise an issue which is allocated to
a 'specialist' by Auto-Call-Routing (based on skill set, priority
and availability).
Technologies Used: Windows 8 surface development, SQL for backend and WCF
web service.
Responsibilities:
o Designing UI pages in XAML and C#
o Implementing a template control to display data.
o Fetching data from backend and displaying data based on user's
input.
> Tap A Meal
An android application to automate token system for food court of
an organization. This application used NFC (Near Field
Communication) feature of mobiles where mobile device acts as a
food token. The application had features such as recharging 'e-
account' of a user, automatic removal of 'e-token' once it is
redeemed and updating food vendor's accounts. This application
aimed to reduce paper usage by introducing 'e-tokens'.
Technologies Used: Android, SQLite3 for local storage in device, JAXRS
web service.
Responsibilities:
o Preparing technical document and UI prototypes based on
requirements.
o Implementing dummy application which stimulates NFC in device by
passing a 'dummy tag' with pre-formatted data (for testing
purposes).
o Designing screen layouts.
o PayPal integration to support recharging of 'e-account'.
> Jeevan Dhara
A cross platform application (built on PhoneGap using HTML5, CSS3)
which provided a means for the users requiring blood, or willing to
donate blood. This application displayed blood donation camps being
organized in hospitals nearby a user as well as user could search
for availability of blood group nearby him and request for a blood
group by a user.
Technologies Used: PhoneGap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery mobile, JAXRS web
service.
Responsibilities:
o Designing pages using HTML5, Css3 and jQuery Mobile.
o Testing the application on different platforms (Android, Windows
8) for cross platform support.
Also developed reusable components for Windows 8 surface and Android
applications which were used in other projects.

Internship at Infosys Technologies
January' 12 - May' 12
Attended 16 weeks internship program at Infosys Technologies - Mysore,
securing CGPA of 5.0 on scale of 5.0. Technologies learnt were Java and
Android and project 'Geo Location Application' for android devices was
successfully completed. This travel mate application helped user to seek
shortest path between two places (based on distance, traffic or any other
obstacle reported by others) and mark favorite places.
Internship at IBM
June' 11 - July' 11
Attended 7 weeks internship at IBM, Gurgaon on the project titled: "SAPS
(Self Assessment for Privacy and Security)" using Struts Framework,
Hibernate Framework, Java Server Pages (JSP), HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
Final Year Project during B. Tech.
August' 11 - December' 11
Did a final year project titled: Face Detection and Recognition for smart
home applications" during B. Tech. This application can detect faces from
the still images or a video sequence; recognize them by comparing them to
the database of "known" images and hence classifying them as authentic
persons or intruders. This application can be used to automate door
opening, restricting children access to various places such as a store-
room, etc.
