write low level software in C language for I/O processing. Test software

on in-circuit emulator.

. Write test vectors and execute black-box unit testing on application

level software modules.

. Experience with IBM Rational Synergy SCCM tool, MATLAB

1998 - 2012: Continental Corporation, Auburn Hills, MI

Controls Software Engineer - automotive antilock braking and stability

control system (ABS/ESC).

. Received a patent (No. US 6,895,357 B2) for Steering Angle Sensor

calibration algorithm.

. Oversee configuration, modification, testing and release of C-language

embedded control software for microprocessor controlled ABS/ESC system.

. Meet and communicate with the customer regularly to discuss requested

software changes, test results, and project schedule.

. Coordinate with several software engineers in multiple countries.

. Modify C-language software on as needed basis. Wrote and bench tested

project-specific software functions such as switches, warning lamps,

buzzer functions and CAN bus signals.

. Work closely with vehicle test engineers participate in vehicle test

. Experienced with MKS Source Integrity SCCM Tools, Vector CANalyzer and

other proprietary data acquisition tools.

. Write formal bench and vehicle testing orders prior to software release

and review results.

. Release software for production builds.

. Investigate, refer, communicate and track resolution of software issues.

As software project leader, I logged issues in MKS issue tracking system,

assigned them to software and test engineers; reported issues to customer

and helped assess the severity, impact, etc. In some cases, I personally

did the data analysis, and software changes. In other cases, I was

overseeing resolution of issues where other software engineers made

changes.
