Career Overview
I am a skilled Information Technology professional with 30 years of experience in computer operations, applications
development and database administration.
For the last 6 1/2 years I was with Laclede Gas Company as an Oracle database administrator. I was responsible for
installing and upgrading Oracle database software. I was also responsible for installing and upgrading the GIS
application software used by the engineering department (GIS - ESRI vendor), as well as maintaining the Service
hub application that was used by the service and installation department. (Viryanet - vendor)
Prior to this I was with GMAC insurance company for over 21 years, with 2 years of experience in computer operations, 9 years
in applications development, and 10 years in database administration.
I was with Co-operating School Districts from 1984 – 1985 working in computer operations.
I am seeking a database administrator position with an organization where my professional experience can be utilized

• Responsible for installing and upgrading/maintaining oracle database software
• Performed oracle database upgrades from oracle 9i to oracle 10gr2 and from oracle 10gr2 (32 bit) to

Oxley requirement related to “NPI” (non private information) data and required over 10,000 lines of code to
be changed along with testing and coordination to ensure that the copy was still working correctly
