Background

I am a driven passionate employee with accountability and authentic growth at heart when it comes to

my work. With much experience in providing the best results in many fields from the restaurant

industry to general labor in organization through shipping and receiving. Although my experience is

mostly in retail and customer service I am an exceptionally fast learner and desire to further accquire

more general labor skills whether it be logistical organization or machine working. At my core I desire

Flow Team/ Backroom Team Member, 2012 - Present

I currently organize and maintain a fluid backroom shipping and receiving and sales process. I

backstock products into our system and store them into the backroom while pulling products for guest

when needed. Also when needed I assist in cashiering and stocking. I articipate in receiving, check-

in, and stocking of merchandise, prepare products for sale, update and maintain organization. I

establish shipping and receiving procedures, which streamline operations and increase efficiency in

the backroom.

• I was recently presented with the trainer identification throughout the store for the flow and backroom

and flow team, a wonderful honor and accomplishment.

• I have the ability and experience to learn new best practices to make my work area more efficient and

productive. Target's developemental focus has taught me to seek out the most balanced technique to

drive sales through what they call the VIBE process.

Building Materials Team Member, 2013 - 2013

As a sales associate for the Building Materials department I familiarized myself with products, uses,

contractors, vendors and company progress to better meets the needs of a wide variety of customers.

My department mostly dealt with lumber in which we received, stocked (with fork trucks), cut, sold

and offered further assistance to customers using vendors. I also worked with trash compactors and

other work vehicles. iPhones were also used to communicate and to search products online. I also

assisted in sales and customer service in other departments of the store while learning about products

and how to best serve the customers by interacting with them.

Kitchen Team Member, 2011 - 2012

I prepared and cooked foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the restaurant. Organizing, cleaning

and preparing the kitchen consisted of testing, cleaning and fully operating kitchen equipment

including pressure fryers, refridgeraters, cutting equipment, fryers and stoves. Maintained kitchen

condition to standards exceeding health regulations. Supervised and trained restaurant staff including

food handling, preparation and using cooking equipment. I also often interacted with customers

concerning food selections and company history.

• I was given many opportunities to train new employees to techniques and company activites such as

customer tours and kitchen check-ins.

Coastal Ice Company, Conway, SC

Deliveries, 2011 - 2011

I delivered bagged ice to restaurants, grocery stores, events and many private client businesses. A

recurring summer job in which I was given the opportunity to drive a delivery truck on my own route as

well as ride along with other drivers as we delivered product to clients and sought out new clients. I

operated motorized lift jacks, mobile air conditioning units, manual dollies and worked in freezers. I

worked closely with one or two other employees on our route in addition to maintaining strong

connections to clients as well as recruited new ones.

• I was assured this position summer after summer as part of a tight knit privately owned local

company. I was trusted with equipment and received excellent feedback on work ethics and

productivity.
