Main activities and Writing and translating, from Italian into English, ad

Vodafone, Telecom, Wind, Virgilio. Usually, I was writing

and following multiple campaigns at a time, from the

creation to the final check, and some of them were really

huge. My duties involved as well: meetings with the

management and the clients, in which I had to explain what

they should have considered to put in a specific campaign

and what they should have not; adjusting poorly written

parts and checking for misspellings in the legal material

sent in by the company lawyer or in the material written by

previous copywriters; other small tasks, from time to time

Creating storylines and trivia games for the mobile market

Analyzing data generated by ongoing campaigns, sent in

either by users or clients. For example, I was asked to

find out, through meticulous analysis, which kind of user

was more interested in the product advertised, or for which

country that particular campaign had proven to be more

appealing, and so on

Analyzing data from previous campaigns to implement ongoing

campaigns. Some examples: analyzing ad messages, piece by

piece, word by word, to find out new ways to express

concepts; analyzing keywords performances in previous

campaigns to assess which keywords combination would have

made the currently advertised product a best-seller;

analyzing related brands and competitors websites and

campaigns, pointing out ups and downs of their ads in order

to build up the proper know-how and reach the highest

standards

Websites optimization: from small banners to the general

layout and appeal of the web pages. To be noticed: never

used HTML tools. I was not the one creating the layout, but

still I was asked by the management to give my advice on

how a certain website would have been performing and to

report on possible changes to improve performances

Reasons to leave The contract was on a fixed-term. It lasted for five

months. The Senior Vice President, chief of the Innovation

Department, in which I worked, pleased with my work,

offered a three months extension and showed the will to

advance me to a managerial position (Marketing Manager).

But, when asking for infos about Greek regulations on

quitting period, I received no answer. Finding my question

reasonable (the quitting period was clearly stated in my

contract, but I had no understanding of Greek law) and

finding company behaviour pretty unprofessional, I turned

down the offer

Main activities and Testing and selling Nokia mobile phones, and arranging

had to test the devices Nokia was sending me, and to check

Collaborations with EA, HP, Microsoft and Vogel's, lasted

only for a few months, while still working with Nokia)

Promoting and selling EA videogames inside stores, and

arranging their visual presentation. The main duty was to

arrange videogames presentation in the most appealing way,

in order to boost sales. I was also involved in the selling

process and in promoting EA brand to the customers (this

collaboration lasted for seven months)

Selling HP PCs and hardware, and arranging their visual

presentation inside stores. The job was quite similar to

the one done for EA: selling was the main goal, but I also

had to arrange the presentation and help customers solve

problems (this collaboration lasted for five months)

Promoting Microsoft products inside stores by arranging

their visual presentation. In this case, I was involved

only in the visual presentation part. Not selling anything

or supporting customers (this collaboration lasted for

three months)
