MINI PROJECT DETAILS

The main objective of this project is to implement an Password Based Door Locking

System Using AT89c51 Microcontroller. The microcontroller based Door locker is an

access control system that allows only authorized persons to access a restricted area.

FINAL PROJECT DETAILS

It’s an extension of mini project. Implementing an “HIGH SECURED PASSWORD

BASED DOOR AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM USING TOUCH PANNEL”. The

password is given to the module by using resistive touch panel and a relay is used as a

switch to ON and OFF the door. It allows only authorized persons into the system.

Client : Titan Industries, India

DESCRIPTION : SAP Implementation project

Environment : ECC 6.0.

Synopsis:

Titan Industries is India’s leading manufacturer of watches and jewelry and the

world’s sixth largest manufacturer of branded watches. Established in 1984 as a joint

venture between the Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation,

the company transformed the Indian watch market, offering quartz technology with

international styling, manufactured at its state-of-the-art factory at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. In

1995, the company diversified into jewelry under the brand Tanishq.

Developed a report for planning purposes for logistic department on how shipment

can be done.

Used the system tools like Runtime Analysis and SQL trace to know the system

performance.

Developed a BDC program to upload vendor master data from legacy system to sap

r/3 system.

Based on the purchasing document no to upload the Sales Order details and to

display the purchasing details by using BAPI.

Modified layout set for purchase order (MEDRUCK) by using sap script.

Made use of standard program RSTXLDMC to upload .bmp & TIFF files for logos.

Involved in transferring of material through IDOC generation, transfer has also been

monitored during this activity.

Project Name : Voice Compression and Decompression using ADPCM.

SC Johnson is one of the world’s leading makers of household brands. They make

homes better for families by marketing trusted house hold products around the globe.SC

Johnson markets cleaning, home fragrance, pest control, storage, shoe care, auto care

products etc.

Responsibilities:

This is implementing project, in this project I involved in some Meetings and interact

with the functional people to make technical specification, I developed following objects,

mainly I worked on BAdIs, BAPIs, ALE IDOCs, ALV REPORTs, Smart Forms for this

project.

Responsibilities:

Implemented BADI to maintain the storage location as mandatory when user creates

the reservation.

Implemented BADI for header text of the reference document is copied as well

when purchase requisitions

Developed an ALV Report to display all the materials that go out-of-stock for only

finished goods.

Developed the outstanding purchase order report based on the business group and

acknowledgement date using the ALV for the list in grid display.

Developed few SAP Smart Forms for various business processes in Sales and

Distribution like Shipping Note, Order Acknowledgement and Invoice.

Designed and coded a BDC program for migration of data from external file to SAP

R/3 on Material Master Record using Call Transaction.

Developed a BDC program that transfer purchase order data from a flat file on the

presentation server and creates purchase order transactions ME21N used.

Worked on Standard BAPI to create and change scheduling agreement.

Mapped the fields of GSK flat File fields to BAPI fields and stored it in Application

server.

Posting the goods receipts using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and

BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT, depending upon different movement type.

Created a custom IDoc type, message type and inbound function module to transfer

customer master and vendor master data from legacy system to SAP System and

send the immediate response to the legacy system.

Project Name : Data warehouse For Insurance.

Client : Legal & General, Chennai.

Role : ETL Developer.

Legal & General, local based insurance company. The data will be organized in terms

of agents, insurance, assured and location according to the organization requirements.

The system is used for policy formulations, Claim analysis, product and customer

profitability, Premium analysis, Cost containment and litigation cost reductions. The

console application which is part of the system does periodic processing apart from regular

database maintenance. Enables the user for studying the market patterns, revenue

estimations and formulate more cost effective and competitive services. This is a new

organization that needs to manage operations of two large and distinct insurance groups.

The project was on Greenfield program management for building data warehouse for

National wide Health Insurance in various subject areas like financial transactions, Claims

information and Agreements.

Responsibilities:

According to ETL specifications Extracting data from heterogeneous source system,

transform and finally load into the DataMart.

Used DataStage Designer and DataStage Director for creating and implementing

jobs.

Developed jobs mainly using various stages like as, Aggregator Stage, Filter Stage

Join, Lookup, Merge, Transformer Stage, Sequential File Stage and Data Set Stage.

Implemented SCD-Type II Technique, reviewing developed DataStage jobs within

the team.

Developed DataStage jobs using Star Schema and followed development standard

into different projects.

Generated Surrogate ID’s for the dimensions in the fact table for indexed and faster

access of data.

Involved In low level design and developed various jobs and performed data loads

and transformations using different stages of DataStage.

Testing and Debugging its components and monitoring the results in executable

versions.

OLAP project for a Hospital Management system is to provide analysis reports

dealing with usage and allocation of hospital resources. Designed system to help

in both the causes. This is helpful for doctors who are busy, to find all the information

about wards and patients.

Responsibilities:

Extensively involved in Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading.

transform and finally load into the Data Mart.

Created complex jobs using Aggregator, Filters and transformations using different

stages of DataStage.
