Manufacturing / Quality Engineer - March 1988 to June 2013 - Metso Minerals Pumps & Process Div – BHM AL
2013 – Consolidated Metso BHM operations to South Carolina. Destroyed unused tooling and prepared
remaining 500 patterns for retrieval by an outside source. Inventoried all remaining gauges. Assisted with
demo of unwanted buildings and prepared one warehouse to be an unmanned l ocation.
2006 - 2012 Vendor Support & Local Quality – Supported our largest vendor by resolving quality and
production issues. Additional duties of tooling manager, thread gage certifications, local quality issues, part
rejections, reworks, returns, product complaints, vendors assemblies, calibrated measurin g tools, and
assisted implementation of new business system software.
2004-2006 Vendor Support & Local Quality – Key person reopening warehouse involving vendor visits,
