Qualifications:
I am a Tool & Die Maker Journeyman with 20 years of stamping/assembly
manufacturing experience working the production lines fast paced stressful
environment and the less stressful tool room as both a Tool Maker and a
leader. I have repaired, maintained, and launched Hot and Cold stamp tools
for many major manufactures-BMW, Ford, GM, Mercedes, Toyota, Freightliner,
Mack, and many others. I have performed Die Tryout preparing the die to
launch the first production hit and I have worked tools that have hit a
million parts. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain, were my primary concerns
on the job as a tool maker. Process improvement through lean practices (
DMIAC ), were my concerns in process management and supervision.
I have worked the assembly side by working with the hem and form to
produce quality conforming parts.
I maintain Class-A experience in stamping and assembly. I have worked
all areas of the process from coil to assembled product on the shipping
dock.
I was trained at a Machinist level with a variety of machines such as
mills, drill presses, lathes, and grinders. I also have been trained
welding-- MIG, TIG, stick. I can fabricate a new detail from blueprint and
then work the fabricated part to the die. The following are some basic
