Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), HR Supervisor, December 2005 - present
CDHS is a large (5600 FTE) public sector human service department that designs and
delivers high quality human and health services to improve the safety, independence,
and well-being of the citizens of Colorado.
This career experience has provided me the opportunity to develop job knowledge and
gain a wide range of professional experience performing and managing benefits,
business leadership and strategy, compensation, consulting, employee relations,
employment law, HRIS, organizational and employee development, training and
development, records retention and ranagement, staffing management, technology,
and state, federal and regulatory compliance.
I have 8 years of progressively responsible Human Resouces experience as a HR
Supervisor (3 years), HR Team Lead (2 years), HR Generalist (2.5 years) and HRIS
Data Specialist (9 months).
I served as the CDHS Compensation Manager (2 years), am regarded as the layoff and
reorganization subject matter expert (4.5 years) and an a Lean “Champion” or expert.
