PERSONAL PROFILE

I am a student nurse currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing course at the University of

Western Sydney, Hawkesbury Campus. I am yet to complete my ten day clinical placement as

part of the requirements for my course. Moreover, I recently acquired a Certificate III in Aged

Care at the Australian Institute, Parramatta. I am a friendly and helpful person; I share a good

rapport with my tutors and other students at the university and same applies within

community. Being a people person, I am an empathic listener. For example, I always take

time to listen when people talk to me.

I am still seeking suitable employment but I have two years’ experience as a volunteer worker

with The Kenyan Red Cross Association. In recognition of time I spent with the vulnerable

population in East Africa, I was awarded by this organization.
