Verified all insurances and requested all precertification for nursing home

patients. Also went to nursing homes to visit patients and perform BCNI Testing.

Assisted with billing sheets and entered all data entry to the EMR system

(CarePath). Answered heavy phone lines and I can multi task. Also went to

nursing homes to file progress notes as well. Emailed providers their schedules

every week, and completed weekly reports for management.

Worked as the primary scheduler/referral coordinator/ins verifier for the radiology

department, under the direction of three radiation oncologist. My duties consisted

of; heavy phone lines, scheduling PETR/CT Scans, nuclear med studies, CT

Scans, prostascint injections and scans, x-rays, bone density studies. I also

ordered all radiation doses for the different exams; I sent all patient information to

the radiologist at the end of the day. I requested referral/authorizations and

verified insurance for all exams being done. All patient information input to the

Impact system.
