and diverse management experience in plant management, EH&S programs,
operations excellence, process engineering, asset utilization, budget
forecasting and management, continuous improvement, and human resources. I
have operations experience in the renewable fuels, bioemulsion, ethanol,
petroleum refining, and lube oil industries and held various Management
roles in manufacturing including Director of Production, Vice President of
Engineering and Operations, Director of Operations, General Manager and
Plant Manager. These roles allowed me to gain valuable experience in
operations management and to create, sustain, and lead multiple production
facilities capable of operating in a safe, secure, environmentally sound
and efficient fashion along with building team-work and continuously
improving performance to deliver short-term and long-term goals.

JOULE UNLIMITED, INC., Bedford, MA
Director of Production - Overall responsibility for overseeing the
company's current and planned renewable fuel production facilities.
Responsible for commissioning, operations and management of demonstration
facility in Hobbs, NM with 21 direct reports and $5 million operating
budget. In addition to the demonstration facility, responsible for
operations and management of pilot plant in Leander, TX that includes an
additional 10 direct reports and $2.5 million operating budget. Work
closely with internal groups from biology, engineering, bioprocessing, and
process development to prove and commercialize the company's proprietary
Helioculture platform renewable fuel technology.

NEW GENERATION BIOFUELS, Columbia, MD
Vice President of Engineering and Operations - Overall responsibility for
the siting, permitting, engineering, construction and operation of the
company's proprietary "second generation" biofuel manufacturing facilities.
Served as the company's process technology expert to create economic value
through customer interface, supply chain evaluation, and product
development. Completed and operated a 5-million gallon per year biofuel
production plant in Baltimore, MD, $1million capex and $0.5 Million
operating budget, successfully transferring lab-scale technology to full-
scale operations, demonstrating commercial viability of the technology and
product. Developed the engineering design for a 25-million gallon per year
production facility. Involved in R&D program and technical oversight of
laboratory studies of plant and animal derived feedstocks. As a senior
executive, participated in setting the overall strategic direction for the
company.

VERASUN ENERGY/ASA BIOFUELS, Sioux Falls, SD
Director of Operations, Start-Ups and Shutdown Systems - Responsible for
the commissioning, initial operations and annual maintenance shutdowns of a
fleet of ethanol facilities. Worked with on-site plant management to
ensure that all start-up operations and maintenance shutdowns were
performed safely and efficiently. Trouble shoot plant issues, provide
technical support, and train personnel on operations.
General Manager - A 100-million gallon per year ethanol plant in Albion,
NE, responsible for oversight of environmental, health and safety,
production, maintenance, quality control, engineering, shipping and
receiving, and human resources with 50 employees, 7 direct reports and a
$38 million annual operating budget. Directly involved with community
relations, employee training, developing operating and capital budgets,
plant start-up and shut down activities, daily production requirements, and
monitoring key performance indicators. Work closely with Cargill for grain
supply, natural gas procurement and DDG and ethanol sales. Owner
representative with construction and engineering firms through completion
of plant build-out and performance testing, a $95 million capex project.
JAN 2006 to MAR 2007
U.S. BIOENERGY, Wichita, KS
Plant Manager - Under contract to Hawkeye Renewables, responsible for
management of 100-million gallon per year ethanol plant in Fairbank, IA
with 45 employees, 5 direct reports and a $33 million annual operating
budget. Involved in construction oversight, start-up and operations of the
ethanol facility. Directed process and equipment design changes to achieve
125% of nameplate capacity for the plant. Responsible for development and
implementation of operational policies and procedures; employee training;
environmental health and safety management; corn, DDG and ethanol
logistics; maximizing production efficiencies; and operations and budget
performance monitoring.
AUG 2003 to JAN 2006
THE O-H GROUP, Colfax, CA
President - Offers project management and technical consulting services to
clients in the biofuels and bioenergy industries. Provided site
assessments, process engineering, facility start-up and operations,
environmental compliance, and construction assistance to ethanol production
and biomass power projects. Developed feasibility studies, business plans,
and environmental impact reports for grain- and biomass-to-ethanol
facilities and wood biomass utilization centers to obtain regulatory agency
approval, permitting, and financing.
CEO - Representing Harvest Biofuels of California, LLC, spearheaded the
development of one of the first ethanol production facilities in California
to meet the increasing market demand. The planned $60.5 million project for
the construction of a 40-million gallon per year plant included $0.5
million in start-up capital, business plan development, site lease, EPC
contract, grain origination and ethanol marketing agreements, DDG and CO2
off take agreements, and permitting.

Operations Manager/Senior Scientist - Responsible for management and
operations of the Sacramento, CA office and providing project management
and environmental consulting services to clients in the government,
chemical, petroleum, power and water utility industries. Accountable for
developing new clientele and markets, contract negotiations, cost
estimating, budget tracking, and report preparation. Supervised staff
engineers, geologists, scientists, field technicians and subcontractors to
meet project requirements and schedules.
As Senior Scientist, conducted R&D for removal of MTBE, chromium, mercury
and cadmium from process and groundwater and provided technical support for
hydrogeologic and RCRA facility investigations.

Quality Control and Engine Lab Supervisor - Torrance, CA. Responsible for
management of quality control and engine labs at light products refinery.
Responsible for quality control of all process streams and finished
products ensuring all testing is performed safely, in statistical control,
and in accordance to ASTM. Provided technical support to refinery
operations personnel and process engineering for quality and continuous
improvements. Assisted in establishing ISO 9000 procedures and document
control for the laboratory and refinery.
Production Supervisor/Chief Chemist - Los Angeles, CA
Responsible for management of production operations and quality control
laboratory at lube oil manufacturing facility. As second in charge of the
facility, accountable for all production operations, maintenance
activities, process optimization, quality and continuous improvements, and
inception and completion of capital and expense projects within the plant.
Responsible for EH&S management and compliance programs under federal and
