Joined Chris Knott in the basement of his home to build Peter Millar into a multimillion dollar company. As with
any new start up, I wore many hats. Sales, design, customer service, management, marketing, distribution, logis-
tics. None of us had any skills or experience with distribution. I used my organizational skills and determination to
learn the distribution and logistics needed to make this the most unique system for fashion delivery available.
Peter Millar has been able to provide product and event support to its customers in the apparel market that no
others will even attempt. Teamwork is becoming what is needed.
MENS CLOTHING MANAGER SAKS 5TH, RALEIGH, NC 2004
Was brought into Saks to create a “Mens Store” within a Department Store. Hiring and training of staff, Merchan-
dising, Developing personal clothiers to generate sales and meet sales goals. Also, developed Speaking en-
gagements at NC State University College of Management. Topic was “How to dress for business and how to
build a wardrobe. Highest attended seminar in NC State.

Brought in to Varsity Mens wear to assist with the management and sales of a small Mens Clothing business.
Was able to bring my experience in fabrics, merchandising, retail management and sales to grow that business
and develop a growing personal clothing business.

Supported the opening of over 60+ new stores in NC and worked as a Training Manager to hire and train store
managers and associates across all districts.
