Acted as liaison and advisor to 14 other Connecticut hospitals to ensure the same terrorism requirements
imposed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health were attained

Reviewed disaster response equipment (ex. decontamination equipment, respirators), and training records to
ensure proficiency in response to potential terrorist acts

Following HSEEP (Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program), participated in and evaluated
several tabletop and functional exercises

Served on the State of Connecticut Mass Fatality Task Force
•
Assigned the lead to develop mass fatality plans for County of St. Louis, MO and 14 other counties in the
Missouri and Illinois geographical area. Project concluded with a tabletop exercise including participants from

Represented YNHHS; CEPDR in Joplin, MO following one of the most devastating tornados on record;

extensive in-house training program for recently promoted officers ( covering department policies and SOP's,
labor related issues, discipline, ICS and command presence, strategy and tactics, etc.)

Attempted through investigation, as required by Connecticut General Statutes, to determine origin and cause
of fires or explosions by securing and documenting the emergency scene, conducting interviews, and collecting
the evidence necessary to classify fire cause as accidental, incendiary, or undetermined

In case of fire or explosion classified as incendiary in nature, worked with law enforcement agencies (local,
state, and federal) to identify individual or individuals responsible and bring them to justice
