Project : Development of 1D and 2D Terahertz Imaging Systems for Non-
Intrusive Package Inspection :
. Co set-up the first Terahertz Continuous Wave laboratory in India.
. Working to develop compact low cost Terahertz Imaging system based on
CW photo-mixing and proof-of-concept demonstration of non-intrusive
package inspection.
. Working with electro-optics components, optical emitters and
detectors, fibre optics.
. Experience in Optical Alignment.
Project : Terahertz Spectroscopy of Biological and Chemical Samples :
. Working with FTIR Spectrometers for the analysis of chemical samples
in the FIR, MIR and NIR regions.
. Analysis of characterstics of chemicals using the Terahertz Setup and
evaluating the results with the spectrometer results to develop the
THz tags.
. Analysis of various Chemical and Biological Samples using Optical
Microscope.
Project : Simulation, Fabrication and Characterization of THz metamaterials
- in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
. Simulation and fabrication of novel metamaterials with unique
signatures in the Terahertz regime.
