As a SAP MM Consultant worked in the project implementation. The scope of work would involve

configuration, data migration, testing and documentation of the same, documentation of end user

training procedures and preparation of training manuals, post-implementation review and functional

troubleshooting.

Customizing the Organization structure for Material Management including defining the

Purchase Organization, Purchase Group, Plant, Storage Locations and their Assignment of

these entities.

Configuring Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing and Inventory Management.

Configuring split valuation for materials.

Automatic assigning valuation classes to Material types

Having knowledge on Release strategy for Purchasing Documents, defined release

procedures for Purchase requisition and Purchase Order includes, defining release groups,

release codes, release indicators, release strategies.

Defining new material types and assigning number ranges for the material types.

Defining number ranges for various documents like Purchase order, Purchase requisition etc.
