Senior Business Systems Project Leader

• SME interface between the business and technology. Complete business knowledge, adept in mapping the business requirements to Oracle Applications. Order Management module was customized in order to provide solutions to the users based on business requirements. Managed the Oracle service requests to ensure optimal solution for user needs.

• Led the upgrade Release 11 to Release 12 – Responsible for documenting current procedures, working with consultants as a “gap provider” between PEWA business and Oracle Apps for a successful upgrade. Responsible for complete UAT – end to end cycle with all modules. Coordinated and validated all setups, flows in system. Provided training to key staff for new release. Provided post production SME support.

• Designed and implemented Oracle CRM On Demand for the Sales Team in order to consolidate the “customer data” and provide transparency and visualization of performance data. Managed team of 3 CRM consultants for gathering business requirements from users, documenting and providing technical details on Oracle CRM. The sales data was monthly uploaded to CRM by customized process.

• Designed and implemented Oracle iExpense for automation of the expense workflow – Responsible for all setups, flows implementation, complete testing, training and detailed monitoring at time of go-live. Customized the mileage expense based on the company rules.

• Designed and implemented Customized Order in process – The “Order In” is a very specific requirement for PEWA business, which gives the management visibility of future sales, based on current shipment and open orders. The entire process was single-handedly driven to completion with very effective results. The analysis, design, writing code, testing, debugging, and implementation were all carried out with great effectiveness. The management was very much satisfied with the detailed level reporting.

• BI reporting for C level management – Oracle discoverer, oracle reports and PL/SQL scripts have been exploited for BI reporting for senior executives. The summarized as well as detailed level reporting has been very effectively used for analysis and forecasting by managers.

• Mentored developers and non technical resources to provide analytics and data management knowledge and best practices.

• Customized the Oracle Webstore for management reporting. Responsible for maintenance and setups for the web portal.

• Support the business functions and users – Responsible for training business users. Daily/weekly/monthly scripts set up to send email alerts. Accordingly users were contacted to make the appropriate corrections.

• Responsible for the month-end business process flow. Coordination with respective departments for completing the month end and providing monthly reports to management.

• Customize EDI – The Sales Order EDI and Purchasing EDI was customized based on requirements. The PL/SQL procedures and shell scripts written for implementing EDI with factories (PO requisition) and customers (sales orders)

• Gathered business requirements for enhancements and worked with Oracle to implement the same. The forecast/consignment workflow is one of the enhancements implemented. Others include emailing order acknowledgements, invoices, statements to customers

• Root cause analysis of business process issues. Proactively resolved issues with current setups and provided changes/corrections as needed.
