software programs. Acted as video director and producer of production
and postproduction as well as manager of all motion and still graphics

Producer for local and national advertising commercials for start up
cable TV Company - ON TV. Responsibilities included: editorial
production, video shoots and audio voice over recordings, editing and
effects, duplication and coordination with local TV and radio stations.
Also managed the training, scheduling and system maintenance for 12 video
engineers.
PROJECT SAMPLES:
. eLearning Operations Training: A petroleum company was experiencing a
200% annual turnover rate with their C-store employees. Exit interviews
indicated lack of training was #1 complaint. I directed a team of 12
writers, three instructional designers, and four graphic artists to
produce a 4,800 screen and pre recorded audio CD-ROM, C-store training
program. Turnover reductions in first year saved $607,000.
. Call Center Training - technical skills: A one-day stand up course
instructing Call Center personnel how to use "Dev Track," an in-house
defect tracking software system. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)
are taught how to log defect incidents when customers report software
complaints. Customer report feedback instruction is also included.
. Negotiation Skills Training: provided train-the-trainer courseware for
sales managers and account representatives. Role model audiotapes
allowed sales reps. to practice new negotiations skills during drive
time.
. Product knowledge and sales skills: Researched initial CSR needs in
detail, made long-term recommendations for target audience and produced
several training audio and classroom modules designed to improve CSR
product knowledge and upselling skills.
. Financial Management Technical Training: developed how-to bookkeeping
training course on accurate accounting methods, i.e., transferring
entries, discounts, calculating averages, cash flow worksheet, and etc.
. Knowledge Management Assessment: Directed the research and reporting of
three Intellectual Capital assessments and made recommendations to
Executive management regarding perspective Knowledge Management systems
to collect, filter, and share employee skills and know-how.
. Patient intake training: Customized an outbound training package for
State call center employees instructing patients on available Behavioral
health care services, patient intake and physician referral services.
. Call Center Training - patient information: Created an education program
targeted for health care customer services representatives who then
provided patient benefit information for registered employees.
. eLearning Development: As part of an Insurance companies' historical
visitor center, I directed the development and implementation of nine
interactive video and audio display units -illustrating various visual
"commercial" messages. This site serves over 35,000 annual visitors.
. Product knowledge training: My team produced a multi-media training
program to educated CSRs and Sales reps on human respiratory diseases and
the potential product solutions. CSRs answered inbound customer product
questions.
. Call Center Training - process information: We created a cross division
communication training program call the ReachSource. The primary
objective was to standardize technical and marketing processes across
each division. CSRs received technical training on the ReachSource's
capabilities and how to further direct questions to Marketing, Sales,
Installation and training support services.
. Content Management System: Led a team that constructed and trained 2,200
employees on a new Global Documentation web-based system designed to
unify storage and retrieval of vital company information. Lessons
learned included: standards for taxonomy hierarchies, metadata
hierarchies, and new document authoring requirements.
. Automated Workflow System: Implemented a workflow system to automate
project finance routing and approval process. New web-based system takes
days to get approvals, opposed to previous 6-8 month cycles. System was
Lotus Notes based and Web interfaced.
. Systems software Implementations: Managed multiple behavioral health care
software implementations, directing internal work groups in the
customization of program software on AS400 mainframe and client-server
technologies.
. Sales Force Automation: Directed the sales force automation and training
of 150 sales representatives and their sales support staff via 17 regions
through out the United States. Supervised 28 IT employees and negotiated
outside vendor and internal support services for hardware installation,
network connectivity, wiring, connectivity services, virtual office set-
ups and training.
. Sales Site Web Development: Directed a team of subject matter experts,
programmers and artists to redesign the corporate Intranet sales site
with sales specific information; i.e., New product/solutions, Daily news,
Training, Administration, Library, Expense sections.
. Account Manager Needs Analysis: Conducted a nationwide account management
(sales) needs analysis research, which resulted in a revised/expanded
account management curriculum.
. Problem Solving Training: Created a troubleshooting video/print program
for operations management designed to build and strengthen "Quality"
relationships with their internal and external customer base.
. Coaching for Leadership Training: Designed a print/video mentoring system
to help manufacturing management develop more effective team leadership
facilitation skills.
. Operations Training: produced a print-based training tool called
"ReachSource," used to unify training instructions for 21,000 employees,
with best practices, product knowledge and training tools/solutions.
. Educational Skills Training: Managed team of graphic artists to develop
over 500 still and motion graphic simulations for Fortune 500 Copier
Corporation. Directed technical requirements, storyboarding, graphics
development, customer reviews/revisions, and delivery of approved
graphics.
. K-8 Educational Programming: Developed four interactive videodisc
programs for grade school use in North America. Managed all pre
production, production and postproduction procedures.
