EDUCATION
Bachelor of Art: University of Utah
In response to your position I have enclosed my educational background and
employment history for your review and consideration.
I am accustomed to a fast-paced environment where deadlines are priority and handling
multiple jobs simultaneously is the norm. I enjoy a challenge and work hard to attain my
goals. I have worked with all levels of management, employees, and customers of
diverse backgrounds that have strengthened my business and interpersonal skills.
I have twenty years of business experience in administration assistance, coordinating and
supervising, reviewing proposals and bids, developing databases, managing inventories,
purchasing orders, writing letters, e-commerce sales, financial budgets, and negotiating
contracts.
I have also worked for many of our local retail stores during the Christmas season: 7
Eleven, CompUSA, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Lowe’s. Cashiering, Asset Management, Sales,
Customer Service and Receiving.
I am motivated and have a desire to succeed! What I lack in specific experience I will
more than make it up with my record of commitment, energy, and tenacity. I have taught a
classroom of teenagers, raised six teenagers, I have flown a helicopter, I escape from I-
15 unscathed, and in the near future I am planning goat roping.
Realizing that letters and resumes are not entirely satisfactory means of judging a
person’s ability or personality, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to
personally discuss your needs and my qualifications. I can be reached at 801-***-****
or email so that we may arrange a convenient time to meet.
Sincerely,
Janette Taylor
